We had so much fun back East visiting Nell and Patrick and our newly "extended" family. Landed late on 1-2, got to bed around 2 a.m. but was used to the vampiric hours. Got up and went car shopping so as to help resolve Seano's rental issue and Dan's aurora failing the safety test. Although Dan was leaning towards a used Audi TT roadster (which was as cool as cars come, KEVIN!) we came home with this sporty little reasonably priced Honda Civic coupe. Reported to get anywhere from 37-43 mpg on the freeway. Might be driving my explorer to Chicago next weekend to pass to Seano. Will feel less guilty about traveling to and from Lexington and Marshall MO this coming year while serving the children of Lafayette and Saline Counties via CASA. :-)Happy Birthday to Shay today and Erin on the 7th of January. Wishing all a blessed 2009.
