Dear Friend,

This letter confirms that I am holding two tickets in your name for the Inaugural Ceremony to be held Tuesday, January 20, 2009, at 11:30am. You may pick up your tickets in my office, 2206 Rayburn House Office Building , on January 16th or January 19th between the hours of 9am and 4pm. Due to increased security and the expected large crowds, I encourage you to use public transportation when picking up your tickets; my office is in close proximity to the Capitol South metro station. My staff or I will be able to give you maps and more information about the event during this time. But, before departing for Washington , you may wish to visit the website of the Joint Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies, http://inaugural.senate.gov/2009, to obtain general information about the Inauguration.

Because of the security surrounding the Inauguration, I recommend that you arrive as early as possible to the Capitol grounds. If you have any questions, please call Ryan Dillon of my staff at (202.... )
